NMC is one of the few dealers in North America who have earned the coveted Caterpillar® 5 Star Contamination Control Rating for all branches.
The 2006 awards were recently presented to each NMC location by our representative from Caterpillar. According to our Caterpillar representative, NMC has done a great job on the 2007 mid-year Contamination Control review and if current efforts and commitment to contamination control are maintained, NMC will continue as a 5 Star dealer for 2007.
Contamination control is important to NMC customers for several reasons. To begin with, it ensures equipment will have the cleanest fluids possible, it provides the best possibility for a longer life for major components and keeping machine fluids free from outside contaminates saves customers money, reduces downtime and helps maximize productivity. Efforts which helped earn the 5 Star rating include cleaning parts and service areas from top to bottom, covering rebuild areas to protect from dust, cleaning and capping hydraulic hoses before installation, washing all machines before they enter the shops and cleaning any oil spills as they occur.
NMC is only one of ten dealers worldwide who have earned and maintained the 5 Star Contamination Control rating. With over 380 Caterpillar dealers worldwide – that puts NMC in the top 98th percentile.
