The TL Series telehandlers are as hard working as you are.
The four model line-up including the TL642, TL943, TL1055 and TL1255 – have a capacity range of 6,500 to 12,000 pounds and lift heights from 42 feet to 55 feet. The series features rugged Caterpillar diesel engines which are known for responsive, reliable and fuel-efficient performance. The TL642 and TL943 use the CAT 3054C Tier 2 engine, and the TL1055 and TL1255 feature the CAT C4.4 TA engine – which is turbocharged and aftercooled, and meets EPA Tier 3 emissions requirements. All four machines use a proven powershift transmission that offers four speeds forward and three reverse for optimum travel speed in either direction.
Power
The TL Series also features full hydraulic power – even at low engine speeds – which delivers precise load placement and reduced fuel consumption. In addition, all models offer three steering modes – two-wheel, crab and circle steer. These modes allow the operator to maneuver the machine in tight places and to more easily place loads when access is partially blocked. To control everything, the telehandlers em-ploy a single joystick, with a separate control lever to operate auxiliary hydraulic functions and has an option for work tools requiring more than one hydraulic power source.
Versatility
The Series features an integrated toolcarrier inter-face with a standard manual coupler or an optional hydraulic quick coupler. This enables the operator to quickly and easily change work tools. A wide range of work tools are available to meet most job-site needs and equip the telehandler to perform a variety of jobs. Work tools include material handling buckets, fixed, rotating and sideshift carriages, pallet forks, lift hooks, truss booms and material handling arms.
