Caterpillar announced the availability of the C-Series machines.
The new CAT C-Series Skid Steer Loaders (SSL) and Multi Terrain Loaders (MTL) lead the industry in operator comfort, performance, and versatility. With Rated Operating Capacities (ROC) from 2,150 lbs to 4,200 lbs, the C-Series machines encompass the large end of the product line and set a new standard in the industry.
To meet the changing needs of operators, the C-Series machines focus on delivering increased ROC to allow for greater productivity and the ability to use heavier work tools. Both the C-Series Skid Steer Loaders and Multi Terrain Loaders deliver greater lift and tilt forces, increased drawbar pull and more power via the CAT 3044C DIT 3.3-liter, turbocharged engines.
The machines also feature updated exterior styling, a com-pletely redesigned cab, improved breakout force, undercarriage enhancements on the MTL’s, and a large number of additional improvements, such as selectable work speed controls, more rollers on the track-type machines, and com-plete C-Series and B-Series work tools compatibility.
